joyful!" (also giving a workshop)
April: Rachel Pollock, costume designer, blog , How to Make a Quilted Hat
May: Habitat for Humanity's Women Build, www.orangehabitat, Houses Built by and for
Women in the Triangle
June: Silent Auction
July: Augusta Cole, www.augustacolequilting.com, Trunk Show by "The Scrappy Lady,"
(also giving a workshop)
August: Finishing School
September: Carol Beck, DOQ member, lecture on appraisals, insurance, & other issues
to consider when showing your quilts
October: Quilt Show Turn-In & Business Meeting
November: DOQ Members, The Quilt Show Is Over & I Still Need to Sew for the
Holidays
December: Holiday Party and Marsha Edwards Tolley, a member of the NCQSI Board,
will have handouts and an 8 minute DVD to show us about next year's North Carolina
Quilt Symposium, and will answer any questions we have.

This is a new group that meets at 3:00 on the last Saturday of the month at Carol
Woods. Open to anyone interested in making original quilts. Contact: Evelyn

NC Stars of Hope
Meets once a month at different times to make quilts for soldiers.
